Source: Native to Burma, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. Supplies from plantations in many other countries.

Air Drying Density: 680 kg/m3

Characteristics: This is a most durable species and mostly is oiled for interior and exterior uses. It is a rick brown colour that is first green off the saw.

Traditional Uses: Ships, floors and general construction. Furniture, joinery, carvings and buildings.

Generation-4 Timber Top specification:
Even though teak is mostly oiled it takes the Generation-4 finish well.

The Generation-4 finish presents a dense but flexible, low maintainance finish which is waterproof, acid and heat resistant.
