Source: Native to South Australia, NSW & Tasmania.
Availability: NZ stock is from plantations
and farm woodlots.
Air Drying Density: 450-650kg/m3
Characteristics: The Ash type eucalypts have tight
interlocked grain and vary from a pale straw colour to a darker
brown depending on location & species.
Traditional Uses: In Australia these are excellent
general purpose building and finishing timbers. NZ stock has
been used for firewood, flooring, panelling, joinery &
furniture.

finish.
